Support team

Judith is the practice manager and is based at Halifax. She is a qualified veterinary nurse with many years of experience. She now spends her time organising the administration side of the practice and working alongside the clinical director to manage our five sites. When not at work Judith spends her time riding and competing in show jumping competitions on her horse.

Charlie has worked at West Mount Vets since November 2014 and is based at Halifax. She mainly works in the administration office although helps our nurses during busy periods. Charlie enjoys her varied role at Halifax but hopes one day to become a pathology technician. She lives with her one-eyed cat, Dot. When not at work she enjoys attending festivals and socialising with friends – at the pub of course!

Joanne has been at West Mount Vets in West Vale since September 2016 doing a job that she has never done before and has settled in well into the role of the receptionist. Throughout her life she has always had a variety of pets, ranging from cats, dogs, rabbits, mice and also some poultry. At the moment she has Wallace, a five year old Border Terrier, to keep her and her husband busy. Wallace has grown up alongside their chickens and cockerel and they all get on rather famously which for a Terrier is some feat!

Having worked in the banking industry for over 30 years, Linda decided it was time to try something new. She had always wanted to work with animals so was delighted to join the West Vale practice in October 2016. She is really enjoying the work, especially meeting new people and their fabulous pets! Her spare time is taken up looking after and riding her horse Tye, who she has had for over 16 years now. Linda and her husband have also recently become the proud owners of a Miniature Schnauzer puppy called Agnes. Agnes has transformed their lives completely and is trying very hard to tell them that she is the boss.
