Microchipping is a means of permanently identifying pets by the insertion of a very small electronic device (the microchip) under the skin.
We often choose to microchip rabbits when they are being neutered but they can be chipped at any age.
The chip holds a 15 digit number unique to your pet and this number is held on a national database together with all your contact details so you can be contacted should your rabbit ever stray from your garden.
It is important that you contact the database if you move home or if your contact details change, I’m afraid we cannot do this for you.
If we implanted your rabbit recently these details will be on the PetLog database.
Another database you might try is Anibase.
